Does Branch @ Home use Flash Objects?  What are Flash Objects?

Yes, if you have Adobe Flash installed on your computer, we will use Adobe Flash Objects to identify your computer in the event that we can't identify your cookies. By using Flash Objects as a backup method for recognizing you as a valid user, we ensure that your sign-in experience is as quick and convenient as possible.  Adobe Flash Objects store data on your computer in much the same way that cookies do. If you have Adobe Flash installed, Branch at Home can use Flash Objects to recognize your computer in the event that you erase all your cookies. That way, even if we can't identify you by your cookies, we can identify you as a valid user without having to ask you one of Your Image challenge questions.

When I log into Branch at Home and click on the link to access my VISA information it doesn’t open in a new window and nothing happens.

Look at the top or bottom areas of your browser screen for a message regarding pop-ups being blocked.  The new site opens in a second browser window.  You will need to click on options bar along the top or right click the icon at bottom and choose allow pop-ups from this site.  There may be another box appear asking would you like to allow pop-ups from www3.fkfcu1.net - Answer Yes.

I am in the VISA screen and click on the links for viewing eStatements but nothing happens.

I am trying to open Bill Payment and it is not working.

Look at the top area of your screen or bottom area of browser screen for a message regarding pop-ups being blocked and choose allow from this site.

Below is example of where pop-up blocker appears in the Google Chrome browser.  Look for little red x in the top right.  Window opens in a pop-up and is getting blocked by default.

Note: For the latest versions of most browsers, the credit union's web site must be set up as a trusted site.

Note: Other browsers may work with these products, but it is not possible to test every available browser.  The minimum versions are shown in the list above.   More recent versions of these browsers (with up-to-date patches where applicable) are recommended because they provide better security.  To work with our Internet-based products, a browser must support the following:

Note:  Also, within Internet Browser settings, "cookies" MUST be enabled; specifically, "session" cookies must be returned to the same site.

What is a Cookie and what is it used for?

A cookie is information stored on the computer specific to your visit to a web page. The cookie is used to deliver personalized content while visiting the site.  The cookie is visible only to the Branch @ Home site and does not contain any personal information.

What is my Image and Security questions used for when I log in to Branch@Home?

As an additional layer of security for your protection at your first logon you choose an Image, a phrase and three security questions which will be unique to you and used to help protect your account information when logging into Branch @ Home.

How do I Clear Cookies?

Clearing Cookies:  This method may differ between browsers and versions.  You are encouraged to clear your browser’s temporary files when you encounter problems accessing a site.  One reason for deleting these files on a regular basis is good housekeeping. More importantly, stored files can interfere with you obtaining updated information from a website, result in browsing inconsistencies, and slow down your browsing speed over time.  Below are suggestions for doing this.  (We don’t endorse or can’t be held responsible for deletion to system or other files as a result of these suggestions.  Please consult specific browser help screens, technical support for pc, etc… for further details and assistance.)

Important! While deleting the browser cookies it also removes your saved settings for sites you've previously visited.  These will be rebuilt the next time you visit/log in to a site.

Internet Explorer 8.x

1.    Click the Tools menu. If you can’t see this menu, press Alt button on your keyboard to show the menus.

2.    Select Delete Browsing History button.

3.    Select the checkbox for Cookies.

4.    Click the Delete button.

5.    Once your cookies have been deleted, click Ok.

Firefox for Windows

1.    Click the Tools menu.

2.    Select Clear Recent History.

3.    Under 'Time Range to Clear' select Everything.

4.    Select the 'Details' checkbox.

5.    Select the 'Cookies' checkbox.

6.    Click the 'Clear Now' button.

Firefox for Mac OS X

1.    Click the Firefox menu.

2.    Click Preferences.

3.    Click Privacy.

4.    Click the Remove Individual Cookies link.

5.    In the Cookies dialog box, click Remove All Cookies.

6.    Close the Cookies dialog box.

7.    Close Preferences.

Safari for Mac OS X

1.    Click the Edit menu.

2.    Click Preferences.

3.    Click Security.

4.    Click Show Cookies.

5.    Click Remove All.

6.    Click Done.

7.    Close the 'Preferences' dialog box.

Safari for Windows

1.    Click the Safari menu.

2.    Select Preferences.

3.    Click Security.

4.    Click Show Cookies.

5.    Click Remove All.

6.    Click Done to close the cookies list.

7.    Close the 'Preferences' dialog box.

How do I Clear Cache?

Clearing Cache:  You may also want to clear Cache for the browser you are using (directions below for Internet Explorer). Consult browser help screens for other versions.

Note: It can take several minutes for the cache history to be deleted.  After clearing Cache you may be prompted to answer one of your security questions for computer to be recognized again.

Internet Explorer 8.x

1.    Click the Tools menu. If you don't see the menu, press Alt button on your keyboard to show the menus.

2.    Select Delete Browsing History.

3.    Select the checkbox for Temporary Internet Files/Delete files button.

4.    Click the Delete button and Yes button in the confirmation window if applicable.

5.    Once the files have been deleted, click Ok and Close window.

Can I access Branch @ Home from multiple computers?

Yes, you can access Branch@Home from any number of computers and have the same protection. If you sign in from a computer that you haven't used for Branch@Home before, you just need to answer one of your challenge questions to verify that it's really you. Once you answer the question correctly, we will ask you if you would like us to recognize that computer in the future. If you answer yes, you will not need to answer a challenge question when you use that computer. If it is a public computer it is recommended you do not register it and use your security questions and phrase for accessing your account each time.

What if I enter my information and my Image or questions do not match?

It is recommended you close your browser and reenter your login information to ensure it was entered correctly the first time

Can I see a pop-up that Internet Explorer blocked?

Yes. Follow these steps below:

1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then, in the list of results, click Internet Explorer.

2. Navigate to a website with a pop-up, and then click the Information bar at top of the screen when it notifies you that a pop-up window has been blocked.

3. Do one of the following:
• Click Temporarily Allow Pop-ups
• Click Always Allow Pop-ups from This Site. In the dialog box that appears, click Yes.

How can I view transaction history beyond 90 days?

Once logging in to Branch@Home, under the "E-documents" tab, click "eStatements / check images". After clicking, select what time period you would like to see, then click "View".

How can I choose to allow pop-ups from a specific website?

By default, Internet Explorer displays pop-ups that appear as a result of you clicking a link or button. Pop-up Blocker blocks pop-ups that are displayed automatically.  If you want to allow a specific website to display automatic pop-ups, follow these steps:

To allow automatic pop-ups from a specific website:

1. Open Internet Explorer by clicking the Start button . In the search box, type Internet Explorer, and then, in the list of results, click Internet Explorer.

2. Click the Tools button, point to Pop-up Blocker, and then click Pop-up Blocker Settings.

3. In the Address of website to allow box, type the address (or URL) of the website you want to see pop-ups from, and then click Add.

How to disable Internet Explorer 7 popup blocker (Windows XP)

1. From the Tools menu, select Internet Options.

2. From the Privacy tab, uncheck Turn on Pop-up Blocker and click "OK".




Allowing Pop-ups in Safari

1. To allow pop-ups in Safari select Safari on the main tool bar.

2. If the "Block Pop-Up Windows" option is checked, select it to uncheck it and unblock pop-up windows.

We have implemented a new security enhancement that will bring a higher level of safety to your account.  This enhancement provides better protection  against online theft and fraud and helps minimize the risk of falling victim to a “spoofed” or imposter web site.  This new security enhancement is called "YourImage".

How It Works:
As a user of Branch@Home, you have always been required to authenticate yourself to gain access to your account by entering a User ID and PIN/Password. Now, Branch @ Home will reciprocate by authenticating itself to you. This authentication is referred to as “YourImage".
When you visit one of our branches, you know our faces and we know yours.  "YourImage" does the same thing over the Internet.  It is a new method to identify us to you and you to us.  When you log into Branch @ Home and enroll in "YourImage" (this will take less than 5 minutes), you will select an image from an online library and a short text phrase known only to you.  When you log in we’ll show you your image and text phrase so you can rest assured that you are accessing our real online site and not an imposter site.

Challenge Questions:
Challenge questions will only be displayed if you log into Branch@Home from a different computer than you used when you enrolled.  If we don't recognize the computer, we will double check that it is really you by asking you a question that you selected during enrollment.  This is another layer of security designed to protect your online account from unauthorized access if your account information is stolen, and help us identify you when you are logging into Branch@Home from an unknown computer.  You'll have the opportunity to "register" computers you regularly use to access your online account.  Once you successfully answer the question, we'll show you your image and phrase.  You may want to share your challenge questions and answers with your joint owner.

No Additional Software Necessary:
This enhanced security measure does not require that you to have any additional computer hardware or software.  All of the identification and validation takes place behind the scenes – creating a silent but secure login
